The father immediately becomes the talk of the other members of the congregation and the son is being bullied at school. The situation begins to escalate, and very suddenly the continuation of life in a new community seems hopeless. "Time Out" is a heightened depiction of reality, an extreme story in which serious drama and equally serious black humor go hand in hand.
