Separated at Birth (2018) tells the story of Lucy Pierce, who believed she had a normal childhood until she comes across articles about the famous Baby Victoria abduction case, which happened when she was born. To her surprise, her baby picture is featured prominently in the articles. Determined to find answers, Lucy tracks down her biological mother, Elizabeth Marshall, who is also a criminal prosecutor running for Governor of Pennsylvania.

Lucy's reunion with Elizabeth is emotional, but her relationship with her newfound sister, Terri, is strained. Terri, who is spoiled and used to being an only child, becomes jealous of Lucy and starts sabotaging her. Terri realizes that if she can't bring herself up to Lucy's level, she must bring Lucy down to hers.
