The soldier, played by Tom Cruise, initially struggles to make sense of the situation but soon discovers that the ability to repeat the day can be an advantage. With the help of a skilled warrior played by Emily Blunt, he starts developing his combat skills, gradually becoming more powerful and efficient. Together, they try to devise a plan to defeat the aliens and end the war.
As the loop continues, the soldier gains insight into the enemy's tactics and learns from each failed attempt.
