Devil (2010) is a gripping psychological thriller set in Philadelphia. The story revolves around Detective Bowden, who is still mourning the loss of his wife and son in a tragic accident. When a person jumps to their death from a skyscraper onto a truck, Bowden is assigned to investigate. Simultaneously, five strangers find themselves trapped in an elevator in the same building where the suicide took place.
With the elevator's communication system out of order, the only way to monitor the trapped individuals is through CCTV cameras. Guards Lustig and Ramirez keep a close watch as tensions rise among the passengers. In a desperate attempt to save them, Lustig contacts the police, leading Bowden to take charge of the case.
As the detective tries to identify the trapped individuals, he realizes that he can only account for four of them, raising suspicions about the fifth person's true identity. With time running out, Bowden must act quickly to rescue the occupants before it's too late.
