In Cujo (1983), Donna Trenton, a suburban housewife, finds herself in a chaotic situation after her husband discovers her affair. Meanwhile, a young boy named Brett Camber forms a strong bond with his Saint Bernard dog, Cujo. Unfortunately, Cujo is bitten by a rabid bat, and his condition deteriorates rapidly.
One day, while Donna's husband is away on a business trip, she decides to take her car, a Pinto, to Brett Camber's dad's car shop. However, her plans go awry as the car breaks down at the shop, leaving Donna and her 5-year-old son Tad stranded. Unbeknownst to them, the rabid Cujo, who has turned into a vicious and unpredictable beast, is waiting for his next prey.
As their car fails to start, Donna and Tad find themselves trapped inside facing a terrifying ordeal. With Cujo's feral instincts taking over, the mother and son must fight for their lives against this once beloved pet turned monster.
