Babysitter Wanted is a thrilling horror film that centers around Angie Albright, a religious teenager who moves to a small town to study Art History in college. In need of money to buy a bed, Angie decides to take up babysitting and quickly finds an advertisement for a job at the distant Stanton Farm in the countryside. She is invited by Jim and Violet Stanton to babysit their son, Sam, on Friday night.

However, Angie begins to feel a sense of unease and believes she is being stalked. She reports to Chief Dinneli at the police station, expressing her concerns. On the night of the babysitting job, Angie's car breaks down, and her friend Rick offers her a ride to the farm.
