In Annabelle: Creation, a devoted doll-maker and his wife, devastated by the loss of their daughter, open their home to a group of orphaned girls and a nun. However, the presence of the girls unwittingly awakens the malevolent spirit within one of the dolls, Annabelle. As the girls face a series of terrifying encounters, they learn that the doll-maker's creation is possessed and out for revenge.

Set twelve years after the tragic death of their daughter, the doll-maker and his wife, together with Sister Charlotte and the girls, move into their secluded home. Unbeknownst to them, the doll-maker decides to open his deceased daughter's bedroom, unintentionally unlocking a sinister force.

Haunted by the doll's disturbing activities and supernatural occurrences, the girls' lives are threatened as the possessed Annabelle doll begins to terrorize them. With no escape, they must confront the evil that has been awakened and find a way to stop it before it's too late.

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Annabelle: Creation is a chilling horror film that explores the origins of the haunted doll. It serves as a prequel to Annabelle and a part of the larger Conjuring universe.
