In The Dinosaur Project (2012), a British expedition led by researcher Jonathan Marchant sets out to the depths of the Congo in search of evidence of dinosaurs. Accompanied by his assistant, a doctor, and a TV crew, the team is joined by a local guide and helicopter pilot. Unbeknownst to them, Jonathan's son stows away on the helicopter, eager to be a part of the adventure.
As they venture deeper into the jungle, the group encounters a series of unexpected challenges. They are attacked by flying creatures, causing their helicopter to crash. Stranded in the dense wilderness, Jonathan and his team find themselves facing the perils of the jungle.
