On a streaming service page, the summary for the movie The Bank Job (2008) would read:
Terry Leather, a car dealer in London, is approached by Martine, a former model with whom he has a connection. Martine proposes a daring scheme: a bank's alarm system will be disabled for a limited time, making it the perfect opportunity to tunnel into the vault. Excited by the prospect of a big payday, Terry assembles a team of skilled individuals to carry out the heist. However, Terry is unaware of Martine's true motive: she needs to retrieve compromising photographs of a member of the royal family in order to avoid a jail sentence.
As the operation unfolds, it becomes clear that there are other powerful individuals who have their own interests tied to the contents of the vault. A Trinidadian thug, a high-end bordello owner, and a pornographer are among those who have valuable items stored there. Unbeknownst to Terry and his team, MI-5 or MI-6 is somehow involved, pulling the strings from behind the scenes.
With so much at stake, the amateurs face a daunting challenge. Can they successfully complete the heist without attracting the attention of the authorities or the dangerous figures connected to the compromised photographs? The Bank Job is a suspenseful and thrilling crime drama that explores the consequences of greed and deception.
