Göran and Tina, along with their two children, embark on a new adventure as they purchase a house in the suburbs. Despite the need for some repairs, Göran is confident in his ability to fix it himself with the assistance of affordable craftsmen. Little does he know that the actual state of the house is far worse than anticipated.

As if dealing with the deteriorating condition of the house isn't enough, a group of criminals is also on the hunt for the stash of dynamite they previously stashed in the basement. This unexpected turn of events further complicates Göran's life.
