In the horror film [Rec]² (2009), Dr. Owen, a medical professional, leads a SWAT team into a sealed-off building to retrieve a blood sample from a young girl named Medeiros. The purpose of this sample is to develop an antidote. However, upon entering the building, they are immediately attacked by zombie-like creatures. Dr. Owen manages to lock one of the zombies in a room using a crucifix.

As the team continues to navigate through the building, Dr. Owen reveals that the patient zero, Medeiros, was possessed by evil forces, and he was sent by the Vatican to save humanity. The team realizes that they can only leave the building under Dr. Owen's command.

Meanwhile, three teenagers follow a fireman and another man who broke into the building through the sewage system in order to rescue their colleagues and daughter, respectively. Unfortunately, they become trapped inside the building as well.

As tensions rise, the teenagers inadvertently release the imprisoned evil creature that Dr. Owen had locked away. Just as things seem hopeless, the team unexpectedly encounters the journalist Ângela Vidal, who had been hiding within the building.

[Rec]² is a suspenseful and terrifying film that explores the consequences of scientific experimentation and the battle against evil forces. Prepare yourself for a nail-biting, intense experience as the characters fight for survival within the confines of a haunted building.
